About the BCCWA Scholarship Foundation

In 2009, the Balcones Country Club Women’s Association Scholarship Foundation (BCCWASF) was officially designated as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization by the IRS. As a recognized public charity, all contributions to the BCCWA Scholarship Foundation are tax deductible.
How We Raise Funds
To support our mission of funding scholarships for local high school students, BCCWA organizes several engaging fundraising activities throughout the year:
  • Monthly Luncheons
    Our luncheons bring together members and guests for informative or entertaining presentations, social connection, and fundraising. Raffle tickets are sold during these events, and many of our speakers and vendors generously donate raffle items or contribute a portion of their proceeds from sales made at the luncheons.
  • Annual Market Days
    This public event is one of our largest fundraisers, featuring a variety of local vendors, artisans, and community partners. Market Days is open to the public and helps raise a significant portion of our scholarship funding.
Governance
The BCCWA Scholarship Foundation Board of Trustees oversees the foundation’s operations and manages the scholarship application and selection process with transparency, fairness, and integrity.​​
