How We Raise Funds
To support our mission of funding scholarships for local high school students, BCCWA organizes several engaging fundraising activities throughout the year:

  • Annual Market Days Event
This public event is one of our most significant fundraisers, featuring a variety of local vendors, artisans, and community partners. Market Days is open to the public and helps raise a significant portion of our scholarship funding.

  • Dollars for Scholars Direct Donations
  • Monthly Luncheon Raffles
Our luncheons bring together members and guests for informative or entertaining presentations, social connection, and fundraising.
Many of our speakers and vendors generously donate raffle items or contribute a portion of their proceeds from sales made at the luncheons.
  • Cookbook sales and other fundraising activities.

Governance

The BCCWA Scholarship Foundation Board of Trustees oversees the foundation’s operations and manages the scholarship application and selection process with transparency, fairness, and integrity.
