BCCWA Scholarship Foundation
Balcones Country Club Women’s Association raises funds for college and vocational scholarships to further the education of deserving students in our community. Selection is based on financial need, academics, school and community involvement and demonstrated initiative and leadership. Click here for the Process for the Selection of Recipients. 2024 was our 20th year of awarding scholarships. We set a goal of awarding 20 scholarships, but we were able to award 22 due to the generosity of our donors. We are proud to be able to say that as of May 2024, in total we have raised and awarded $508,100 in scholarships to 235 deserving students! The BCCWASF Board of Trustees presents the scholarships at a reception for the recipients and their parents in May each year. Click here to see the 22 Scholarship Recipients in 2024! |

In order to raise these funds, BCCWA hosts monthly luncheons to entertain and/or inform our members and the community about topics of interest that will draw them to the function for a social gathering, lunch and sale of raffle tickets. AND, many of our speakers and vendors also contribute raffle prizes and a portion of their proceeds that are raised during our luncheons. In addition, BCCWA raises a significant portion of the funds through our annual Market Days event which is open to the public.
The BCCWASF Board of Trustees oversees the operation of the foundation and administration of the scholarship program.
